Coordinates missing on Chinju no Mori
Chinju no Mori is not a location and should not have coordinates on it. It is a type of shrine and is in the categories Category:Forests of Japan and Category:Shinto shrines because it is a type of shrine not because it is an individual shrine.Immanuelle 💗 (please tag me) 15:00, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
- @Immanuelle: Thank you for catching this. I've modified the category tags on the page to have empty sort tags, which is done by convention for articles which are not actually an instance of one of the classes implied by a category tag. This shouldn't happen again, because the bot keeps logs of its activity, and should only try to tag a page once. — The Anome (talk) 15:09, 21 June 2022 (UTC)

- I've done so. Thank you. — The Anome (talk) 23:34, 5 September 2022 (UTC)

The article Hand-waving has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. - car chasm (talk) 23:25, 7 September 2022 (UTC)
- I've removed the PROD notice; the article is not a dictionary defintion of the term, but an article about both the term and the activity the term refers to. — The Anome (talk) 08:46, 9 September 2022 (UTC)

You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:09, 9 September 2022 (UTC)

- Following an RfC, consensus was found that if the rationale for a block depends on information that is not available to all administrators, that information should be sent to the Arbitration Committee, a checkuser or an oversighter for action (as applicable, per ArbCom's recent updated guidance) instead of the administrator making the block.

Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

- The article creation at scale RfC has been closed.
- An RfC on the banners for the December 2022 fundraising campaign has been closed.
- A new preference named "Enable limited width mode" has been added to the Vector 2022 skin. The preference is also shown as a toggle on every page if your monitor is 1600 pixels or wider. When disabled it removes the whitespace added by Vector 2022 on the left and right of the page content. Disabling this preference has the same effect as enabling the wide-vector-2022 gadget. Looks like you left a softer-block talk message but didn't actually block the account. Just a heads up. ceranthor 19:51, 11 December 2022 (UTC)

Involuntary euthanasia
Hey, thanks for fixing the lead of that article. I think that pretty much fixed the issue for me if the page cannot be merged/moved. PhotographyEdits (talk) 21:13, 12 December 2022 (UTC)

The article List of dystopian games has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Total original research
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. MilkyDefer 05:06, 25 December 2022 (UTC)
Adding coord data to Polish town/village articles
Hi The Anome, I have been making quite a few edits to Polish town and village articles to show a pushpin map with location. See, for example, this edit. This activity is fairly boring and repetitive - do you think your bot can help out with this? The edits generally fall into two camps - moving the existing coord data into an existing coordinates parameter in the Infobox settlement template, or adding a new coordinates parameter to the Infobox settlement template and moving the existing coord data there. Thanks, Kiwipete (talk) 02:44, 28 December 2022 (UTC)

The article List of dystopian music has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Highly WP:OR and unsourced. The concept of a dystopia is a recurring theme in fiction (see dystopian fiction), but we don't organize music (artists, songs, albums) by their theme.
