Pseudonym

BeauJoual is a direct reference (and a sort of homage) to the comics character of Bojoual le huron-kébékois (Bojoual le huron-kébékois), hero of some Québec's graphic novels published there in French in the seventies, which I loved in my childhood.

Bojoual is the creation of Jean-Guy Lemay, known under the pseudonym of J. Guilemay (J. Guilemay), author with a phenomenal success at that time in the belle province, unjustly forgotten in the trashes of the Québec's comics history.
