Toxol

Not to be confused with taxol.

Toxol is a toxic organic compound classified as a benzofuran derivative with the molecular formula C13H14O3[1]. It is naturally found in plants such as Aplopappus heterophyllus[2][3] and Werneria ciliolata[4]. Its IUPAC name is 1-[(2S,3R)-3-hydroxy-2-prop-1-en-2-yl-2,3-dihydro-1-benzofuran-5-yl]ethanone.
