In Garfield?
The Garfield (film) article says a clip from this episode appeared there. I don't remember that, but it seems like a notable legacy. CanadianCaesar Et tu, Brute? 21:38, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
- I have no idea, never seen Garfield, but yes if it can be sourced then it would be a very nice addition. Gran2 21:47, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
- I read somewhere that it was Dog of Death in that movie.
Almost ready for GA
One thing should be taken care of to pass the article; no mention is made of the title! It's a play on The Caine Mutiny, and that should be mentioned in the lead and in the cultural references section. Chubbles 17:55, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
- That's true but there isn't a reliable source for that, so it cannot be included, unless it is put in uncited. Gran2 17:56, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
- I'm of the opinion that that seems to constitute a plain enough derivation that it wouldn't require an outright statement from the cast or crew of the connection. Chubbles 20:01, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, that's fine by me, it'll be in within two minutes. Gran2 20:07, 14 April 2007 (UTC)

Okay, I've made a few minor copyediting corrections to this entry, but I don't think any of them would qualify as significant edits to the article, so I will go ahead and pass the article for GA. Chubbles 06:53, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

Similar plots
The American sitcom, Married With Children, had an episode with a similar main plot where a credit card arrived in the mail in the name of Buck Bundy, the family dog. The Bundy family, assuming that they couldn't be made to pay back the charges on the card, went on a spending spree with it. It was episode 16 of Season 2, entitled "Master the Possibilities".
