Miss Ukraine Universe (Template:Lang-uk) is a Beauty pageant that began in 2006, after the Miss Ukraine Organization lost the franchise to Oleksandra Nikolayenko.[1][2] The winner of the pageant represents Ukraine at the Miss Universe contest. Historically, Ukraine was represented at Miss Universe by the winner of the Miss Ukraine pageant and close selection by Miss Ukraine pageant.

History

Lyudmila Bikmullina

Oleksandra Nikolayenko was invited by Donald Trump to be a Judge at Miss Universe 2005. Natalie Glebova, Miss Universe 2005 was invited by Oleksandra to visit Ukraine to promote the Miss Ukraine Universe contest in 2006.[3] The first edition of the contest was won by Inna Tsymbalyuk.[1]

In April 2016 the owner of “Miss Uлraine Universe” Oleksandra Ruffin sold the pageant. A foreign-owned international company became the new owner of the “Miss Ukraine Universe” pageant. Both parties stayed satisfied with the results of the agreement. Anna Filimonova is the Pageant Director and holder of the license to conduct the “Miss Ukraine Universe” in Ukraine.
