== Painting too broad a brush on Colombia University protest ==

I wanted to read more about Colombia University protests so came to this page furst, but all it currently writes is, ''At a pro-Palestinian rally held by students of the Columbia University in New York, protesters chanted "there is only one solution, intifada revolution", "Yemen, Yemen make us proud, turn another ship around" (a pro-Houthi slogan) and "NYPD, KKK, IDF, they’re all the same".[377]'' And that's pretty much everything. I just think that's really unfair to paint them all in one broad brush and it's too selective as it only focuses on the negative minority but leave out the larger peaceful protesters who distanced themselves from questionable non-student protesters who have gathered outside the campus, and said those “inflammatory individuals do not represent us and denounced them.[https://www.cnn.com/2024/04/22/business/columbia-tensions-passover-virtual-classes/index.html] As well as majority of them pressuring their university to divest from Israel and weapon manufacturers that are arming the war. But that info is not mentioned despite it's the majority goal of their protest. Instead it makes it seem like the very few inflammatory minority is the entire protest when it's not and that's a misrepresentation. I cannot edit that article as it's protected but could someone please review and fix that part of the article? Separate article on Ceasefire movement

Should there be a separate article specifically covering calls for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza? None of the articles in Category:Reactions to the Israel–Hamas war seem to cover the topic in depth. Proposing it here first because I don't have much experience editing in this particular area and don't want to make an article that the community has already decided shouldn't exist. Have there been any previous discussions on this? The Midnite Wolf (talk) 23:55, 31 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

But that info is not mentioned despite it's the majority goal of their protest.
