Village in Kaunas County, Lithuania
Pelutava (formerly Russian : Пелутово , Polish : Piełutowo )[ 1] is a village in Kėdainiai district municipality , in Kaunas County , in central Lithuania . According to the 2011 census, the village had a population of 179 people.[ 2] It is located 2.5 kilometres (1.6 mi) from Pernarava , by the Liedas river. There is a library.
History
Pelutava has been known since 1590 . At the 18th century it was a royal village in Vilkija eldership. During the Soviet era Pelutava was the "Salomėja Nėris" kolkhoz center.[ 3]
