Draft:Brad Namdar


Brad Namdar is an American business owner, professional American football player, sports executive and politician from Dallas, Texas. He was the General Manager and Sporting Director for the Texas Outlaws and is a former professional American football kicker of the Tucson Sugar Skulls. Namdar became a professional Footgolf player in February 2025.

Career

Sports

Namdar played NCAA Division I football as a kicker and punter at Texas Tech University[1] under Coach Mike Leach and later at Southern Methodist University under Coach June Jones.[2]

In April 2024, Namdar played as a kicker for the Frisco Fighters in the Indoor Football League (IFL).[3] He also played for the Tucson Sugar Skulls, Wichita Regulators, and Corpus Christi Tritons, where he played for the AIF 2024 National Championship game.

Namdar played youth club soccer and was a member of the U.S. Youth National Pool. Namdar played for several youth clubs including the Dallas Texans.

In 2013, Namdar was the Director of Operations for the SMU Men's Soccer team. Namdar coached soccer at St. Mark's School of Texas and founded "Dream Big Soccer," an initiative that helped over 2,000 underprivileged children through soccer.[4] In 2015, Namdar was the Men's and Women's Head Soccer Coach at Mountain View College.[5]

In 2023, Namdar became the General Manager and Sporting Director of the Mesquite Outlaws, a professional indoor soccer team in the Major Arena Soccer League.[6]

Business and politics

In 2016, Namdar founded a luxury art and home decor business. The company's luxury candles are sold in over 25 states and 5 countries,[7] including at the luxury retailer Neiman Marcus, and its art was sold at the United States Grand Prix Formula One race.[8]


In 2022, Namdar ran for the United States Congress in Texas.[9]

Personal life

Namdar has served on the Richardson Rotary International Club, where he received the Paul Harris Award, and the SMU Young Alumni Board.

In 2020, Namdar was appointed by Texas Governor Greg Abbott to the Board of the OneStar Foundation.[10]
