Dareke Young

Dareke Young (born June 4, 1999) is an American professional football wide receiver for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL).[1] He played college football for the Lenoir–Rhyne Bears. Dareke went to Middle Creek High School in Apex, North Carolina from 2014 to 2017. In high school, he had 29 catches, 502 yards and 5 touchdowns and only had three losses in his career while also earning Academic All-Conference honors.

Young was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the seventh round, 233rd overall, of the 2022 NFL draft.[4] He played in 13 games as a rookie primarily on special teams, but had two catches for 24 yards on the season.[5]

On September 4, 2023, Young was placed on injured reserve.[6] He was activated on November 11.[7] In the 2023 season, he appeared in six games in mainly a special teams role.[8]
