Enemies list

Although Nixon's enemies list was perhaps the most famous, the general concept is much broader than one person. BD2412 T 01:51, 24 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Comment. In a good amount of fictional media, the phrase "enemies list" is synonymous with Bestiary. Steel1943 (talk) 22:59, 24 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Equus caballus robustus

Previous RfDs for this redirect and similar redirects:

Similar to #Equus caballus below this is not mentioned in the target article, or indeed anywhere on Wikipedia. There are enough hits on Google that I'm sure this is a real thing, but almost none of them in English and the ones that are I can't access in full but it seems to me to be an ancestor of modern horses (possibly of Przewalski's horse?). Someone looking to Wikipedia to learn about this isn't going to be helped at all, so it would be better as a redlink until we do have content. Thryduulf (talk) 23:01, 25 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I can't find the discussion for Equus caballus, but IS E. c. robustus actually a valid synonym? The few publications I can find are either 70 years old or Spanish (country) only, which makes me think that this may be one of these cases where a name stuck regionally after proposal but did not get uptake and/or acceptance in the field at large. --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 07:40, 13 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
It seems I actually meant Equus robustus not E. callabus, the discussion is at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2025 April 2#Equus robustus and concluded with consensus to retarget to Equus major. Thryduulf (talk) 08:24, 13 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. Not illuminating re E. c. robustus though, as far as I can see. Common sense suggests that this subspecies name is synonymous to the species name, but are there sources that indicate this? --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 08:47, 13 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Comment According to StableMade, this appears to be the "Western Diluvium Horse", but StableMade is also far from a reliable source and is also the only mention OF Diluvium Horses in general so I wouldn't trust it User:Someone-123-321 (I contribute, Talk page so SineBot will shut up) 04:01, 5 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Clean singing

Not mentioned at target article. Launchballer 15:40, 4 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Target mentions "clean vocals" a few times, apparently as an antonym. This could probably be elaborated on (in the lead, for instance). 1234qwer1234qwer4 15:58, 4 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
This is backed up by Clean#Other uses in music with the entry "Clean vocals, a term used for singing to distinguish it from unclean vocals, such as screaming or growling]]. Thryduulf (talk) 17:02, 4 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

While there are no mentions of this fictional character, I would !vote for this redirect to be repurposed and retargeted to S. L. Viehl#The Kyndred for a novel of the same name mentioned there, as a good search term. Trailblazer101 (talk) 15:25, 4 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Israeli–Palestinian conflict solutions

Sinai option, one of many proposed "Israeli–Palestinian conflict solutions", was created at the redirect title in 2023, and moved recently by @Lionel Messi Lover. Despite the long history, I think this still should not be pointed directly at any one solution, given both the plural and the fact that this elevates this particular proposal (not, I think, a particularly prominent one) above others. I think this should be a disambig page, though if there exists a good overview page that would make a good alterative target as well. Israeli–Palestinian peace process is the closest I've found, but it isn't very well suited in my opinion. Rusalkii (talk) 01:25, 24 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Friends lesbian kiss episode

Are descriptive episode names like this helpful? I'm genuinely asking. Also, it seems to have been wrongly tagged as being from a merge. — Anonymous 02:03, 9 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Weak keep I don't doubt someone would see smth like "my favourite episode of friends was the lesbian kiss episode" on socmed and look up something like "Friends lesbain kiss episode" User:Someone-123-321 (I contribute, Talk page so SineBot will shut up) 09:48, 9 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete, implausible search term, no evidence that this is a name. Let the search results do its thing imo. We don't redirect any "kiss episodes" of any television series, to the episode in question, on Wikipedia of all things, where every redirect requires perennial maintenance. Unhelpful redirect, let's not give the impression that these types of redirects are encouraged or acceptable. Utopes (talk / cont) 02:21, 12 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

A writer with the Associated Press noted in an article that week that the ceremony would not include a kiss by the newlyweds, including the episode as part of an observed trend of portrayals of gay characters while skirting controversy by avoiding or minimizing physical contact.

Poor people's rights

I am not sure if we have a page that this is a natural fit for, but the "Equality" disambig page certainly isn't it. I can imagine a redirect to Economic inequality, as at least much more on topic? But that isn't really talking about rights at all, just the general existence of economic inequality. There's an ACLU handbook of poor people's rights, which isn't mentioned anywhere on wiki. I think the most common use of this phrase is for various social safety net programs? Rusalkii (talk) 23:27, 13 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Anti-electoralism

The target doesn't seem to give the reader information about what the titles of these redirects are suggesting. The section Undemocratic contains information about problematic elections in some countries, but not about criticism of (nor sentiment against) the very concept of elections themselves, so retargeting the redirects there may not make them helpful. Anti-electoralism and Criticisms of electoralism could also be retargeted to Electoralism, but that article doesn't say anything about the opposite sentiment nor how "electoralism" has been criticized either, so I suggest deleting all three of them if no better targets can be found. – MrPersonHumanGuy (talk) 18:02, 21 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Kkaydes

Newly created redirect from a person's name to a general genre of music whose article does not mention this person to provide any context for why he would redirect there. There's an improperly referenced draft about the same person at Draft:Kkaydes, which wouldn't be the least bit approvable in an WP:AFC review in its current state, so this was clearly created as a semi-advertorialized attempt to "get" the person into Wikipedia prematurely -- but he's not entitled to have his name be a redirect to a general overview article about a genre of music, in which he isn't mentioned at all, in advance of passing WP:NMUSIC to qualify for his own BLP. Bearcat (talk) 16:13, 13 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Maulana Saifullah Muhammadi (Islamic scholar)

This should be deleted as Maulana Saifullah Muhammadi is nowhere close to be redirected to Sufi Muhammad. It was created by a sockpuppet. Al-Waqīmī (talk) 15:21, 13 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Falsterbo Horse Show

This should either be an article, or the contents of Category:Falsterbo Horse Show should be deleted. –LaundryPizza03 (d) 14:59, 13 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep/Dabify – There are three appropriate options: 1) make an article, 2) dabify it to the three existing year articles of the show, or 3) keep target to the community. #2 seems to be the easiest route as three year–based articles exist.--☾Loriendrew☽ (ring-ring) 21:28, 16 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Estadio Banorte light rail station

Implausible redirect since Mexico City stations are not sponsored. (CC) Tbhotch 00:42, 6 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep: The station itself isn't sponsored, but it serves the stadium which is sometimes referred to by the sponsored name, and hence this would seem to be a perfectly plausible search. Rosbif73 (talk) 14:16, 7 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Delete: This was originally a replacement for a piped link [[QVC|QVC East]] but the reference to QVC East seems to have been removed since then, so I agree this redirect serves no purpose now. Colonies Chris (talk) 17:00, 13 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Cindyana Santangelo

The subject's page redirects to an album where the subject speaks only one word. Does not pass WP:GNG WWGB (talk) 01:22, 29 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Keep – notability does not apply to redirects, only to the question of whether a subject should have a standalone article. In fact, redirects from notable subjects are sometimes deleted precisely because they're notable. jlwoodwa (talk) 21:50, 29 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
  • Weak keep. Most of her obituaries mention her acting roles instead of Jane's Addiction, so I think this could be a little WP:ASTONISH, but those acting roles were very minor and don't really merit being mentioned on here, so given that this is probably the only target the redirect is fine. Nohomersryan (talk) 18:30, 30 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Retarget (with soft redirect) to Wikidata Cindyana Santangelo (Q133734495) as it's non-notable for Wikipedia. fgnievinski (talk) 00:45, 31 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I would gladly support this retarget, given the rules on redirect notability criteria (none). Ref (chew)(do) 07:11, 31 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I strongly oppose this option. Redirects that include a Wikidata property number are frequently deleted on Wikipedia (example: "Foo (Q123456)" to "Foo"), and doing this is such an unlikely cross-project redirect that it is definitely not what readers are looking for if they are currently on Wikipedia. I have pointed out how this typo redirect would inhibit searches for other, potentially more popular, topics when entered with the same typo. 1234qwer1234qwer4 21:28, 15 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
  • weak delete. while i normally support deletion of tpyos from the third word on (or after too many characters, which this probably isn't), it's relatively likely that someone would type that before getting to the part of the title that isn't the same as the other games (nailed the wording!). still, i believe typo correction functions would have them covered regardless, if not outright stopping at the second b consarn (prison phone) (crime record) 11:04, 16 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Don't keep (no opinion on whether to delete or retarget). The Final Fantasy creature is called a "Gigantuar" (the u and a are switched). "Gigantaur" spelled that way is a World of Warcraft character, or possibly a misspelling of Gigantor. 🦬 Beefaloe 🦬 (talk) 10:23, 13 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Phoenix Down

Not mentioned at target. Minimal information exists at Final_Fantasy_VI#Localization; there is also a band named after the item, which is mentioned at Kane_Roberts#Career, as well as Phoenix Down (The Unguided song). As for the last two, I am not sure the misspelling is likely enough to warrant a redirect independent of the outcome for the other three. 1234qwer1234qwer4 01:23, 13 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

No mention anywhere on the English Wikipedia. Created with the edit summary Internet nickname for the site but a web search seems to bring up unrelated results. 1234qwer1234qwer4 00:25, 13 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

This is anecdotal and probably not admissible as grounds for keeping the redirect, but the logic behind this nickname stems from Japanese being called moonrunes in some internet communities, thus the Japanese equivalent to YouTube being called Moontube. _dk (talk) 00:47, 13 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
