- This is "from Łuczak's private archive", but is he the painter or is this a painting by someone else? Uploader (Lucasm) might be the same as "Łuczak". Stefan2 (talk) 00:26, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- Sourced as "yahoo.com image search". Unlikely to be PD and no evidence that it is. Eeekster (talk) 01:01, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- I found the actual source at http://www.kicksonfire.com/2009/03/04/converse-product-red-all-star-lupe-fiasco-st-alfred-recap-release/. I can't find anything releasing the image into the public domain. There is a copyright mark in the bottom right hand corner of the page. Ryan Vesey Review me! 22:25, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- This file may be in public domain but "I, the copyright holder of this work" is not enough (it is a derivative work of medal) Bulwersator (talk) 23:20, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- Dubious "own work" claim. This is evidently a professional shot made on the red carpet of a high-profile media celebrity event. Uploaded and tagged as own work by a user who describes himself as an 18-year-old accountant student. No indication of how he could have got into this extremely privileged photographer position. I can't locate the copyvio source for this on the web right now, but it may just as well be a scan or screenshot or something. Fut.Perf. ☼ 08:14, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- I checked Google images, India's Google images, and various pages with photographs form GIFTH 2012 (which did appear to occur on the date the photo was taken, March 15), and I was unable to find that image anywhere. While I agree that the own work claim seems dubious, it certainly is possible. Ryan Vesey Review me! 22:35, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- User at Wikipedia:Contributor copyright investigations/Deibid for several bad uploads.
Metadata SONY DSC-P72 and most of this users uploads are from another camera. Google image found other version(s) but which one is oldest? MGA73 (talk) 16:05, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- The versions I found on Google were more recent than this one. When you find an image on Google, try downloading the file using wget. The good thing with wget is that it preserves the file modification time, so the downloaded file will get the same modification time as the file on the webserver. Alternatively, you can use the Internet Archive to find out if the image appears on an old version of a web site (doesn't seem to work with this image).
