What should be changed:

Key people in the info box and under Leadership: Thorsten Steinmann should be added. In January, Brona Magee should be added and Michael Pickel as well as Klaus Miller should be removed.

Under Leadership the composition of the supervisory board should be updated:

Torsten Leue (Chairman), Herbert K. Haas, Natalie Bani Ardalan, Frauke Heitmüller, Ilka Hundeshagen, Timo Kaufmann, Harald Kayser, Sibylle Kempff, Alena Kouba, Dr. Ursula Lipowsky, Dr. Michael Ollmann Dr. Andrea Pollak, Dr. Erhard Schipporeit

Why it should be changed:

As reported by Reinsurance News^[1] Thorsten Steinmann joined Hannover Re's executive board for the Property & Casualty business group effective to Sep 1st. His predecessor Michael Pickel will remain in the board until the end of the year. Additionally Brona Magee will succeed Klaus Miller effective Jan 1st 2025, reported on by Reinsurance News^[2] and the Intelligent Insurer (with paywall)^[3].

The change in the supervisory board was voted on before and at Hannover Re's Annual General Meeting 2024. It was reported on by Reinsurance News^[4] and the new composition of the supervisory board is updated on Hannover Re's website^[5].

Since 1 January, there have been additional changes, already mentioned in the above post, which should be reflected on the Wikipedia page:

Why it should be changed:

As reported by Reinsurance News^[1] Michael Pickel will remain in the board until the end of the year 2024.

Brona Magee will succeed Klaus Miller effective Jan 1st 2025, reported on by Reinsurance News^[2] and the Intelligent Insurer (with paywall)^[3].

The company also lists its current board of directors on https://www.hannover-re.com/en/group/executive-board/

Thank you @Rusalkii! Just published the changes. I was wondering if there is a preferred way of sorting Names? In the infobox it seems to me like it was done alphabetically (surname) and in the chapter it looks grouped into topics and only secondary alphabetically. Happy to follow the wiki-standards on this. On April 1 we again had some changes at the Hannover Re leadership team therefore I suggest the following edits:

What should be changed:

Key people in the info box and under the Leadership chapter: "Clemens Jungsthöfel" instead of "Jean-Jacques Henchoz" as the CEO. And "Christian Hermelingmeier" instead of "Clemens Jungsthöfel" as the CFO. Under history the last sentence could be replaced with "In 2025, Clemens Jungsthöfel succeeded Jean-Jacques Henchoz as Chief Executive Officer of Hannover Re" to stay coherent with mentioning the prior CEO.

Why it should be changed:

As reported by Reinsurance News and stated in the release by Hannover Re Clemens Jungsthöfel (prior CFO) took over from Jean-Jacques Henchoz on 1 April 2025. Christian Hermelingmeier followed Clemens Jungsthöfel as the new CFO of Hannover Re, starting on 1 April 2025.

Hannover Re has updated its brand and therefore now has a new logo, should this be updated on the wiki-page? The new logo is available for download on the Hannover Re website under "Media-Service, commonly used graphics".^[1]

I am not sure how to provide sources for the re-brand, the new logo on the company website might be enough. AFAIK the only official statement at the moment is this linkedin post on the company profile.^[2]
