Reception
Writing in the Guardian, Luke Buckmaster gave it 4 stars. He writes "In terms of its emotional essence, Swift Street is framed from the beginning as a story about a father and daughter – though it’s easy to forget that, given the show’s breakneck pacing and sheer sass. It moves, baby, and it’s an absolute blast."[3] Wenlei Ma of the Nightly says "Swift Street wants to show that it’s not always an easy life with clear moral decisions, but it is an easy series to like."[4]
Awards
- 14th AACTA Awards
- Best Costume Design in Television - Ntombi Moyo (Episode 1: Thank You Elsie) - nominated[5]
