On 2 June 2023 a passenger train derailed colliding with a goods train in Balasore, Odisha, India, leaving 50 people dead and more than 300 others injured.[1]

Reactions

The Prime minister of India Narendra Modi said "Rescue operations were underway at the site and "all possible assistance" is being given to those affected".
