The discussion gives a consensus that enabling accountcreators to create these edit notices was a mistake. If that is so then perhaps removing that ability would be desirable. However, as long they can should we have a notice saying that they can't? I will leave the editprotected tag in place to allow others to see it and come to a different view if they see fit. Account creators no longer have the tboverride right (instead they now have tboverride-account) per this discussion. As a result, they no longer have the ability to change edit notices and should be removed from this message. FunPika 21:37, 6 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please change "Namespace MediaWiki.svg" (file link) to "MediaWiki Namespace.svg" (file link) for the 4 listed pages. The old MediaWiki brackets were replaced with the current logo ~3 years ago, this will make the image match the namespace again. Terasail^[✉️] 02:52, 27 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@MSGJ I would assume that the two notices include this image because their protection is enforced by MediaWiki:Titleblacklist rather than by specific page protection? Although I am not sure if either of them really need it, I just noticed that the old image was being used, quickly made the new one and made the request here.
