Maile Atienza

Arlene Maile Ilagan Atienza (born August 24, 1971)[1] is a Filipino politician from Manila currently serving as city councilor of Manila for 3rd district since 2016. She is the daughter of former Manila Mayor Lito Atienza and sister of TV host Kim Atienza.

Political career

She ran for city council seat under United Nationalist Alliance, which her brother Ali is the vice mayoral candidate in 2016, and managed to won.[2] She left Asenso to join Joseph Estrada's Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino for reelection in 2019, but lost.[2]

She joined Asenso Manileño and Isko Moreno's Aksyon for her reelection bid in 2022, and won.[3] In 2025, she stayed under Asenso even though Moreno left and will oppose the party's mayoral candidate, and its vice mayoral candidate will face another sibling Chi.[4]
