Lexi Fernandez
Lexi Fernandez Alvarez-Cordingley (born January 5, 1995) better known as Lexi Fernandez, is a Filipino actress best known for her role as Leslie "Les" Fernan in the 2010 drama series Reel Love Presents Tween Hearts,[1] and as Chloe in the 2011 film Tween Academy: Class of 2012.
Career
Lexi began her acting career under GMA Network, following in the footsteps of her mother, Maritoni, who is of English and Irish descent. She became a regular presence on several of the network’s television programs and gained prominence in 2010 for her role as Leslie "Les" Fernan in the drama series Reel Love Presents Tween Hearts.[2][1] In 2011, she appeared in the youth-oriented film Tween Academy: Class of 2012 and the psychological thriller The Road.[3]
She retired from showbiz in 2015 as she was suffering from anxiety and depression for 2 years prior.[4]
Personal life
She is the daughter of Maritoni Fernandez, a Filipina actress.[5] In 2019, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development and Education from the University of Asia and the Pacific.[6] On November 19, 2023, she married her fiancé, Charles Harry Cordingley at the Church of St Cyriac and St Julitta in Newton St Cyres, Devon, United Kingdom.[7]
