The 2025–26 Texas Longhorns men's basketball team represents the University of Texas at Austin in the 2025–26 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. They play their home games at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, as members of the Southeastern Conference. The Longhorns are led by first-year head coach Sean Miller.
Previous season
Season outlook
The Longhorns finished the season 19–16, 6–12 in SEC play. Their season ended in the NCAA tournament when they lost to Xavier in the first four. After the loss, Texas fired head coach Rodney Terry and hired Xavier head coach Sean Miller[1] as Terry's replacement.
